We ranked these tours on four things: how well they show you Denpasar or make use of it as a base, review scores and — just as important — the number of reviews behind them, value for money, and how easy they are to join from a hotel in the city or Sanur.
The list starts with tours that take place in Denpasar and Sanur, then moves to transfers and the big Bali day trips. Ratings and review counts were read from GetYourGuide in October 2026 and will have moved since; prices are indicative starting prices in euros.

How to choose
If you have one day in Denpasar, book the Badung Market food walk in the morning and see Puputan Square, the Bali Museum and Bajra Sandhi on your own in the afternoon using our things to do pages.
If you are staying in Sanur, add the e-bike tour or the cooking class, and take one island day from the harbour.
If you are using the city as a base, the private Ubud tour and the Uluwatu sunset trip are the two day trips that deliver the most for the least driving.
Honest note: GetYourGuide’s coverage of Denpasar city itself is thin compared with Ubud or Nusa Penida. We list every well-founded city tour we could verify, and we do not pad the list with products that never enter the city.
