About Denpasar.com

An independent guide to the Bali city most visitors only fly into.

Denpasar.com exists for one reason: Bali’s capital deserves more than a line on a boarding pass. We put together the practical, honest information we would want before spending time in the city — what is worth seeing, what to eat, how to get in from the airport, and when the big ceremonies happen.

What you will find here

How we work

We research from official sources, local reporting and published visitor information, and we hedge where facts change — opening hours, fees and bus routes in particular. Where we could not confirm a detail we say so, and we would rather leave a price out than invent one. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.

How the site is funded

Denpasar.com is free to read. It is supported by affiliate partnerships with GetYourGuide for tours and Trip.com for hotels: if you book through our links we may earn a small commission, at no cost to you. This never affects what we recommend. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

We are not a tour operator and not the city government’s official tourism site.

Plan your Denpasar days

Give Bali’s capital a day — it shows you the island without the filter

Eat your way through Badung Market, walk from Puputan Square to the Bali Museum, catch sunrise on Sanur’s beach path and use the city as your base for Ubud, Uluwatu and Nusa Penida. Compare the best-rated experiences and book in a couple of taps.
